The Battleground Mobile India game is expected to be released in India soon. On May 18, Crafton announced that the game’s pre-registration is now open exclusively to Android users through the Google Play Store.

As for the launch date, a support page on the game’s official site states that the launch date is being finalized, leaving PUBG fans in a state of excitement. A page on the official Battleground Mobile India site reads, “We are still in the process of finalizing the launch date, we will keep our fans informed of the events ahead.”

By pre-registering for Battleground Mobile India, users will get notifications when the game is officially launched. You can also select the automatic install option that will install the game on your Android device when launched.

It will also bring some specific prizes including a Recon Outfit, Recon Mask, in-game currency, and more, as shown in the video posted on the game’s official YouTube channel. At the moment there is no information about pre-registration of iOS but the game will launch on both platforms.

Battleground Mobile may contain an APK file of the same size as PUBG Mobile.

The PubG Mobile APK file is about 600 MB, so can be the Battleground Mobile key as well.
Battleground Mobile India will be supported on devices running Android 5.1.1 or higher.

Battleground Mobile India is the Indian version of PUBG Mobile with a new identity. Krafton, the owner of PUBG Games, is trying to block comparisons between the upcoming Indian version and the popular PUBG mobile game due to last year’s ban.

Nevertheless, there are many similarities between the two versions, as they are more or less the same. Apart from the mascot, features, and maps, Battleground Mobile India’s APK file can also have the same download size as PUBG Mobile.

According to an IGN India report, the download size of the Battleground Mobile APK file could be around 600 MB, certainly because there is going to be another similarity in the two versions of PubG Mobile.

The PUBG Mobile APK file weighs about 600MB on Android. But, as reported in the report, Crafton has confirmed that Battleground Mobile India will be supported on devices running Android 5.1.1 or higher and with 2GB of RAM. This makes practically every new Android phone eligible for Battleground Mobile – something that was not possible with PUBG Mobile and therefore PUBG Mobile Lite was present. There may be no need for Battleground Mobile India Lite.
